WARRANTY INFORMATION
Labor Warranties
Warren's Paint & Decorating Center offers a 5-year labor warranty on all flooring installations. This includes items such as:
- Carpet: seams, wrinkles, pulling up from tack strip
- Vinyl: seams, loose metals, bubbles, loose plywood
- Hardwood & laminate: repairing or replacing loose boards
- Tile: repairing or replacing severely uneven tiles

All manufacturer warranties are available on their respective websites (a list of which can be found on our product pages). Please contact us should you need assistance locating these warranties.
A Note About Carpet Warranties
We advise our customers to check the specific warranty requirements for carpet purchases. Most manufacturers require that their products be professionally cleaned every 12-18 months to comply with their warranties. Also, be sure to keep all receipts to demonstrate proof of cleaning.
A Note About Hardwood & Moisture
Because hardwood flooring is a natural product, it will expand & contract throughout the year due to seasonal moisture changes. This is especially true here in upstate New York, where our winters bring very cold & dry air while our summers bring very hot & humid air. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the homeowner to monitor & control humidity levels in their home in order to maintain a relative humidity level of 35% - 55% at all times. The use of humidifiers & dehumidifiers may be necessary in order to ensure these levels.
Please note that warranties offered by hardwood manufacturers - as well as labor warranties offered by Warren's Paint & Decorating Center - DO NOT COVER issues related to environmental moisture conditions.
